Arli Miller is a Director at Parker & Partners and has 15 years of experience in public affairs roles covering strategy development and implementation, education campaigns, reputation and issues management, internal communications, change communication and corporate social responsibility. She has specialised in health for the last eight of these.
Arli’s experience covers a broad range of industries, with 10 years spent working in senior-level roles. Prior to joining Parker & Partners, Arli worked within the Corporate Affairs function of two global pharmaceutical companies. As an issues-rich, heavily regulated and complex operating environment, she has developed a wide array of tools and skills to manage and influence internal and external stakeholder relationships. She has managed corporate-level communication and provided strategic counsel for a number of issues such as manufacturing issues, product recalls, industry regulation, corporate restructures and change programs, and was an active member of the Industry group. Arli’s experience extends to the not-for-profit sector, having headed the national media and communication function at MS Australia – the peak body representing the interests of people living with multiple sclerosis. During her four and a half years with the organisation she worked closely with the executive team and Board to amalgamate a federated operating model into one operating entity. She also had oversight of the organisation’s annual report, AGM, issues management process and acted on multiple occasions as the organisation’s spokesperson.
Prior to working in corporate and public affairs, Arli worked as a journalist and within Bain established CSR consultancy, The Australian Charities Fund.
Since joining Parker & Partners, some of Arli’s clients have included CSL, NAB, Janssen-Cilag, Philips Healthcare, American Express and Microsoft.
Arli holds a Master of Public Relations.
